  1. I'm going to tell you that my hair started to fall off at exactly at 3 months now that I'm 7 months post op. it has slow down a lot many say it happens because our body is going through starvation, other say its because a lack of protien and vitamins, or because of the anesthesia. I take 2 multivitamin and 2 biotin 5000mcg everyday I don't see that much hair lost now then before but when I wash my hair the hair does come out more then it's dry.
  2. Sorry to hear about the hair lost. I was also sleeved in January I started to lose my hair at 3 months now it slow down a lot. I take 2 Multivitamin and 2 Biotin pills everyday plus I try to keep my Protein level at 60-80 grams day.
  3. @ moreganK in June and July I got my Tom that is twice in the whole year well this August and I'm waiting for it again but when I had it it was very painful I drank hot tea and put heat packs which helped a lot another thing our body is not use to have a menstrual each month but I'm hoping that the pain gets better as time goes on.
  4. I was told don't drink anything 30 minutes before a meal and 30 minutes after a meal

  7. OMG just a quick update this morning I woke up with with a hue abdominal pain and I was thinking what did I ate last night thinking that I was going to have diarrhea but no for the 2nd time this year and back to back it was my Tom after this weight loss its getting normal its late
  8. Everybody at work is asking me what kind of diet I'm in. Many people ask about paleo diet which I'm was clueless about, atkins, vegan, etc well u get the point so I tell people that I'm in no kind of diet I did a life and food change. I have a great idea I feel I should record myself because I repeated myself so many times I feel like broken record lol
  9. My starting weight was 299 pre op diet I was 282 now I'm 5 1/2 months later I'm 210 thats 89 lbs and a female 26 yrs and 5'6 tall my goal is 145

  12. I don't have crock pot but I want to buy one? The people which do have one do u recommended one and what kinds of dishes do u prepare I'm 6 months post op thanks
  13. My endocriologist encouraged me to get wls he is the one that monitors my hormone levels not my surgeon. Having PCOS we struggle a lot with weight and unbalanced hormones and when we are sleeved we only deal with unbalanced hormones because hormones are stored in our fat cells for me has helped having an Endocrinologist

I'm sorry to hear this I'm a PCOS patient also everybody is different I was sleeved on 01-23-12 and lost so far 84lbs and my nut was surprised because she said that pcos patients are typically slow losers my advice to you is drink water protien first in every meal try to eat every 2 hours I think ur doing great and don't be discourage the pounds are going to fall off but Just will be slow. Ohh ur bmi is maybe in the low side don't worry or stress
