  7. I was sleeved on 4/11/12, and all is wonderful, but I am starting to want different foods. My NUT says 49 days out until I can eat regular food, my surgeon seems to be way more laid back. I just want to try a bit of chicken, meat, tiny bit of Pasta, etc. So, just curious when did most of you start being able to eat anything? Sent from my iPad using VST
  8. I paid around $14,000 in KC, MO. Mine includes everything and 3months of insurance for complications. My insurance covers it but I am on the lower side of BMI and did not meet all criteria. My heart was set on it so I did not want to jump through hoops and take a chance of being denied. So glad I went with it. Best 14,000 I have spent and I am only 5 weeks post op! 10. I felt horrible from the time I got home to about day 3. Now (4 weeks later) I am all back to normal, except the eating part. I am down 25 lbs, give it time and you will not regret. Pop some pain pills. I hope you feel better soon. Sent from my iPad using VST
  11. I am sick of the plain vanilla and chocolate Protein shakes so today I put the following and it was soooooo good: 3/4 cup Sunny Delight 1 scoop Vanilla Protein powder 1 Yogurt (raspberry flavored) 5-6 raspberries ice Blended it up and it is soooo good. 30g of protein and 330 calories (a bit high on calories but I am between 600-800 calories a day) Another option I have tried: 1 scoop of Vanilla Protein Powder 8 oz milk ice 1 Tbs Peanut Butter 1/2 banana 33 g of protein and 300 calories Anyone else have any other ideas.
  12. I cannot handle the 25 (dollar) multi-Vitamins from my surgeons office (big waste of money.). After I take them I feel I could vomit. I am taking my kids gummy vitamins, Not sure if that is all I need, I need to find a list of what I need. Sent from my iPad using VST
