    I just don't know

I'm not a relationship expert either. However, based on what you've shared, I would guess it's insecurity. When you were obese, perhaps he didn't worry about other men being interested in you, but he could see this as a real possibility now that you've lost so much weight. He may simply need reassurance of your commitment to him. This should be obvious after 20 years, but your circumstances have changed. Even if we know it's true, we all want to hear our partners tell us that they love us and would never leave us!

Hi Snetsky! Mine is on the 24th as well. Best of luck to you and to all us surgery buddies scheduled on the last week of October week 🙂

Surgery tomorrow. Mostly feeling calm, but occasionally get these bursts of panics thinking about how this is for life (getting a RNY so non-reversible). Any words of encouragement would be hugely appreciated right about now.

    I just don't know

I am by no means an expert on relationship behaviour, but from I take from your post is that it maybe insecurity / jeaolousy but also some control issues, in the sense of controlling you. His behaviour certainly isn't acceptable in the workplace. Does your husband show the same behavour in other aspects of your life outside of work?

    Nerves

I was afraid of how it would effect my body in the long run. Honestly I’m much better off. My health is so much better. It takes time getting use to the feeling after I eat. But with time that will get back to normal. Just follow the steps given to you and it won’t be a big deal. You got this!

I started taking them as soon as I got home from the hospital. The only one that bothered my stomach was my vitamin B complex capsule, but that was just temporary. A week or two later I was able to tolerate them.

    Regret and Depression

Hi, I feel the same and am left wondering how i am going to live my life now. I have reacted so badly to this surgery that i can bearly eat. I would gladly take back the 20kg i have lost to have my stomach back in tact. I dont know how to move past these feelings its awful. I too had been thinking about it since 2016. I think those of us who think about it for a long time arent ready to actually do it. People who make the decision and do it quickly seem to adjust better. I am now 3 months out and everyone kept saying it will get better you wont feel like this for long but i still am 😢. I want to feel better, I want to be happy but i dont know how
