Has anyone else's feet gotten smaller, I seem to have gone down a whole size from a (UK) 7 to a 6; I'm flapping about in my Jimmy Choo's that fitted me not so long ago?

@@RosieCheeks

as you lose weight, most parts/areas of your body "shrink"

including your feet

while you are losing from your feet (swelling etc)

loose skin/excess weight from feet area will disappear

therefore your feet/shoe size will be smaller

good luck

kathy

I have lost 2 shoe sizes and gone from wearing wides to regular widths.

Two things caused this, weight loss, but also with the weight loss, I don't really retain Water anymore. My feet were almost always a little swollen, and that is not the case anymore.

@ proudgrammy

Thank you.

Watch out Ebay - there will be a mega amount of very expensive new/worn once shoes in a UK 7 on sale very soon!

This is awesome. Just another great weight loss non-scale victory to look forward to. Congratulations!

Get you Ms RosieCheeks-Jimmy Choo's. I have to agree with the feet losing weight though. I've lost a bit from my trotters but the biggest difference is the circumference of my calves. I'm getting into boots that have been relegated to the back of the cupboard for years. Loving it. Mind you, it has saved my neck when my nearest and dearest (Mr 'We're on an economy drive') spied a new pair of boots. I used the 'these old things' line. Of course the excuse works EVERY time as there is no way that a mere man can remember exactly what his woman's footwear looks like from season to season! I am a complete shoeholic so I have to have viable excuses at the ready! Oh the NSVs, especially the ones that keep your addictions flowing!

I LOVE shoes (and handbags but don't get me started...) and have loads, most of which I've never worn for some bizarre reason. Donald J Pliner is one of my faves - I just love pointy shoes/boots.

Talking about calves, I'm struggling - I think I've got lymphoedema. It's relatively common post cancer from what I gather and despite my GP telling me 'some women are just like that' - I'm ignoring him and pressing other avenues for treatment. I'm not losing all this weight to end up with elephant legs!

I'm just 20 days post sleeve and all three pairs of shoes I have worn this weekend are looser. I had intended to get one ret h because they pitch the top of my food but now they are perfect.

I never seemed to have puffy feet but I guess I was retaining Water. I have a hard time finding ding shoes that feel comfortable, so wow... Another unexpected side effect of weight loss!

I bought a pair of boots this year that are XS in the calf .. i could have cried, in between all the whooping and laughing I did. Roll on the January sales ;)

Postscript: Also I wear heels now, rather than flats as I used to hate trying to ram my fat feet into nice shoes but now I can wear what I want. Whoop Whoop.

Me to only 2 weeks post op but wore heals last night that were tight this summer and sip up a new pair of UGGs I bought in the sale earlier this year which wouldn't sip up. Very happy.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
