Hi: I had my surgery (sleeve) on January 12th of this year. I am doing fabulous. I have lost 65 pounds so far and I have had zero issues. I'm exercising 5-6 times per week and I am about 20 pounds from my goal weight. Life is good.

I had surgery on December 29, so I think that counts as January. I am doing great and love my sleeve!! I have lost 80lbs and I am down from a size 22/24 to a 14. I am still consistently losing. I have not had any complications and no dumping. I still follow the rules. I have not introduced carbs, sugar or alcohol. I feel great!!!

Hi everyone had my surgery on January 23rd down 73 lbs, I'm so happy!! Best decision I ever made! Had my thyroid removed three years ago my and weight spiraled out of control, with in two years I had gained 130lbs and nothing I did helped me loose weight. Since my sleeve the weight is falling off I follow all the rules and work out six days a week. For the first time in my life I look forward to weigh in day lol! Starting to feel like the old me again!! I wish all my fellow January sleevers continued success and happiness!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
