Hi everyone,

I had my band placed in 2013. It was going well but then, I got lazy. Gained back some of the weight and now just feeling like I need some sort of support from those that my be experiencing the same. My band is filled to about 8cc and feels good with no issues. I do feel the restriction when I eat and drink Water. I think I just need to work out but do not feel motivated. I am starting to eat healthier and using green drinks to detox myself. Any suggestions on how I can pep myself up and what foods I can eat to get myself back on track. I am good with fish and some chicken but not into meat.< /p>

Thank you!

Teresa

I had my band done in 2011. and I too did great in the beginning. for the first 2 years I had my original 2mm fill . and lost 65 lbs., Of course I was terrified every time I put something in my mouth. I started loosening up food wise and unfortunately I have gained back part of the weight. I was working out before to try to get weight off, now I work out to keep if off, but somewhere between all that, it's no longer working. I have confidence in myself that this is just a setback , it happens, get back on the wagon, yada yada yada.

You are not alone, don't go by someone else's journey. We all have our issues, our demons, our goals and dreams. You are not alone.

I so understand what you're saying. I too had lost my way and am now trying to get back on track. Banded in 2012 and did great until the passing of my dad in 2013. It totally devestated me. But now it's time to start looking after my physical self again. Here's to a great summer of eating healthy, walking and success on our weight loss journey.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
