Bariatric Pal Foods

Recommended Posts

Hi Everyone! I have been browsing through all the food items sold in the store on this site, and am wondering if anyone has tried any of the Soups? My surgery is on the 16th, and I know that soups will be an option, within a few weeks. I saw that there is a variety pack with soups without any solids, which is what I'd need.

Also saw there is Sloppy Joe for months later, and Pasta. Any input on anything would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I'm almost 6 months out and I actually still make some of the soups! I would recommend the beef bouillon and the cream of Tomato Soup. Then when you're a bit farther out, the chicken Pasta Soup is really yummy. I have texture sensitivity so I don't like a few of the Soups that have a lot of parsley in it (I mean.. a LOT. It gets stuck in my teeth and tickles my throat and I hate it) like the cream of chicken. Also The beef with pasta is good, but if you're grossed out by rehydrated carrots, stay away from that one too. Hope this helped! :)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
