Winter Challenge?

Recommended Posts

I've got a question for the vets, did you find it was tougher to stay on plan or lose weight in the winter? I'm thinking I'm fighting evolution. I was losing pretty steady and the only stall I've hit was at three weeks, none since so it might just be a stall. With poor weather I can't get out for walks as often and I'm not very dedicated to exercise. What do you think, I'd appreciate your thoughts.

I suggest getting a recumbent exercise bike (new or used) and parking it in front of the TV. The TV helps with the monotony and it keeps your metabolism going!

What winter challenge..... Couldn't help it......a Florida stab........ The stalls are gonna happen and they will take a toll on your desire to continue to exercise... DO NOT GIVE UP......That is the time to make even more effort to get to a gym or bundle up and go outside......do whatever you have to do to keep getting in the exercise. That will break the stall, but more importantly it will solidify your resolve to maintain the change in your lifestyle that must include exercising. ;)

Hi...I am 3.5 years out and I hit a stall at about the same time you are (about 6 months out). It's normal and has nothing to do with the season. You've lost 85 lbs in 5 months! That's incredible. But I just wrote yesterday in my blog the difference between the One Year Sleeve, the Two Year Sleeve and the Three Year Sleeve, so you might want to read it. Bottom line, is that get as much weight off as you can in the first year! http://www.queenofcrop.com/

Good luck and keep at it!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
