I had my bypass Nov 3rd. Tonight I went out with a few people for dinner. We went to buffalo wild wings. I had a grilled chicken wrap. Took 2 bites of the insides and I have this horrible pain in my left should. My nurse said it's normal, bc I eat too much, too fast, or not chewing enough. It hurts to the point where I'm starting to tear up. Does anyone else have these pains.

I have had issues with pain when I try eating too fast. It's hard when everyone else is done and your still sitting there! Eating to much is a different kind of feeling. Almost like a tummy ache and a sensation that you ate a whole lot of food. Sometimes backing up into your throat.

I had food get stuck tonight and the pain and pressure was horrible. Had to walk around as sitting was not comfy at all. Took about 1/2 hr to go away.

I have sensations like this every time I try chicken, even pureed with salsa added to it to moisten it. So far my pouch just does not care for chicken. I will just give it some more time as I do fine with eggs, tuna, and very moist ground turkey. Later this week I plan to try some shrimp to see how I do with that. Also, just curious but had you tried tortilla or wrap before? I have yet to try one however my BFF had surgery in June and now she says that at first trying any kind of breading or tortilla was very difficult for her. Or did you not eat any of the wrap? I hope you're feeling better now.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
