It's never to late to design your dream life

Recommended Posts

I am 61 years old and am living my dream life, a lot in part due to my WLS 3 years ago. This forum has been so valuable to me and I recieved much support from it.

But I thought some of you might be interested in how sensuality can come back into your life after WLS and when you are older. It's never too late to start having fun again. I decided to write about this topic on my blog (I did a blog for the first year of my WLS but now I am 3 years out). There are so much good information out there about diets, exercise, Protein shakes, but not much out there about other important topics like how we have missed out on so much intimacy because we were heavy. I just started up again, and have really just scratched the surface on our new life. I have learned so much in the last 2 years about about intimacy, and I personally think it's an important and healthy topic. Not sure if BP will like me talking about it, but we will see. Check out my blog if this topic interests you. www.queenofcrop.com

And remember, it's never ever too late.

So glad you started the blog back up and that you're sharing with honesty how you've changed your life.

Life should remain interesting as long as it possibly can. When it's not ... it's time for something else.

:)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
