My surgery was 1/31/13. I lost 125lbs in 10 months. I went from a size 24 to a 10. I love it. post-146468-14133398305412_thumb.jpg

I am a January 2013 sleever! I had great weight loss!! I went from a presurgery high of around 210 to a too low low of 112. I lost some weight prior to surgery and my dos weight was 180. 112 was way too thin for me. 120-125 is perfect for me. Today I'm at 129, but have gotten as high as 136 in recent months. Seems like my body likes the 130-135. I really want to get back in the low 120s. Still hate that my weight fluctuates so much, but loving being normal for well over a year now. I generally wear a size 4 or 6 and small in most if my clothes. No regrets here! By the way, I am only 5'2".

Gives me hope as I started at 210 got down to 150 then now hovering at 178 preop so my hope is that I can get to the 120-130s, as I am 5'1 and have had the hardest time getting past the 150s.

You look spectacular. I'm not sleeved..I have a band. But the surgery was on 1/14/13 so I decided to post here. I'm also interested in how folks are doing nearly three years out. I'm finding maintenance a whole other animal and it comes with all sorts of challenges...

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
