Unfill today...booo!

Recommended Posts

Due to my altitude issue my doctor recommended an unfill. He said it was two tear drops. I sure hope this does not set me back. I have been losing steadily and I want that to continue. Has anyone had an "unfill" I have been in a lot of pain since. Not sure if that's normal?? Feels like I was punched in the stomach.

Sometimes the fill/unfill can leave your muscle a bit sore. Put a little ice on the area that will help.

I'm sorry I had to read your post 3x I thought I read due to your attitude issue...and I couldn't grasp why your attitude would affect your fill level...and now I am laughing at myself. :) Thanks for that!

Unfills typically give me relief and much needed respite from the symptoms of being 'too tight'.

Regardless of the fill amount, it is what and how much we eat that makes the difference in the scale, and our blood work values.

One aspect of fill/unfill balance, is it allows observation of just what my own eating habits are doing in relation to whether I sense 'restriction' or not.

Too often my sense of 'restriction' is marked by daily episodes of PBs and slime.

I like feeling 'not hungry' and luxuriate in those times when such is present. I don't seem to be able to adequately describe my sensation of 'satiety' and 'not hungry' being entwined. PreOp I can not recall in decades, of ever having either sensation.

Your concern of being 'set back' is understandable. I've not experienced the 'soreness' issue following unfill though.

Cheers in your journey.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
