Just curious, from everyone's personal experience, how long does the famous 3rd week stall last?

I am also 3 weeks post-op and am experiencing a stall. You are not alone! My scale hasn't moved this week.

I just say my body is on hold. My longest hold was 4 days so far but there have been a couple of 3 days too. I am averaging 1 pound lost every 2 days since surgery (17 pounds since surgery). When the hold is over the weight loss catches up. As long as you are not eating crazy amounts of food your body will have no choice but to release the weight. When it is ready of course.

Give it time... Just keep doing what you are supposed to be doing... and the scale will have no choice but to move... my 3week stall lasted about 10 days... then another stall about 6 /7 weeks out... but your body will catch up... just don't watch the scale. take pride in the non scale victories - you maybe losing inches and not even realize it :)

(i found if i do 3 days of Protein shakes, it helps kick start the weight loss train... but at 3 weeks out, you are prob tired of them)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
