just wanted to say hi and introduce myself! its always nice hearing from people my age (in my 20s) and their experiences and how everything has worked out for them!

i'm about 1 1/2 months out from completing my 12 month supervised coaching program through anthem cova care. I have two of my doctors appts on jan 6 and I hope to talk to my doctor to see when we can get this ball rolling! this has been such a long process, i'm so anxious to just get the surgery over with!

please feel free to add me as a friend, I would love all the support I can get :)

So, you may be banded by February 15thish? Read as much as you can here. I've been hanging around here for years but didn't really pay attention till I got banded 11/28/11. There were some normal issues that came up such as "Bandster Hell, stuck episodes, and not losing till I had several fills. These are issues commented on here every day but for some reason I figured I'd be the lucky one who immediately dropped 50 lbs. HA!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
