I was banded in June 2011 and have only lost about 20-30lbs (right now 20lbs). I'm 23 years old and none of my friends are aware of my band therefore I don't have a strong support system. If anyone is looking for weigh in buddy feel free to message me!

I am 28 and I totally understand weighing every day - I never weighed myself before I started this journey so I feel like it is part of the new me!

I have 70lbs left to lose but I am doing it in stages so my next goal is 30lbs before July -- I was banded in December and have lost 34 lbs so far!

Would love to chat!!

I was banded in July 2013...I would love to have an email buddy! I am considered a Low BMI lap band patient...so my journey is going very very slowly! But I would love to communicate with others about their journey!

I actually am no longer weighing 2 x day. I have been on a very long plateau and have now started back on metformin, zocor and lisinopril. I have been having a really hard time losing, I have gained a good 5 lbs instead. Very frustrated, still working out 5x week for about 45 minutes and still no losing. Need some advise!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
