I know there are a lot of weight loss tracker/food trackers out there. Is there one that you suggest I use? The more tools I have the better!

Thanks!

I have an iPhone and theres this app that I love because for me it's motivational! I'm able to track my weightloss and there are a few other features it's called "my band fill" I think it was something like $3.00 in the app store and I'm very happy with it!

Aloha Daelynn,

www.myfitnesspal.com has a neat weight loss tracker. For a food tracker http://www.teambeachbody.com/signup?referringRepId=85197 has a various tools...meal planner. personalized meal plan, meal plan wizard, balanced slim down plan, low-carb express plan, power vegetarian plan, active lifestyle plan, and food substitution plan. It's pretty well rounded.

I like www.livestrong.com/thedailyplate for a food journal. It will also track your weight loss if you want.. and measurements.

It's the most complete I've found in 2 years of living the banded life. It does have a smartphone app, not free, but only a small charge 1.99 maybe? Not sure as I still have a stupid phone.

For a free phone app, check out the one from fatsecret.com.. it's pretty good I hear from friends who use it.

Don't trust the exercise estimates from online sites or from machines (such as treadmills, bikes, ellipticals).. they are highly overly optimistic. Much better to get a HR monitor with a chest strap, which is still not perfect, but closer to what you're really expending.

If not sure which one to buy, consumer reports did a quick evaluation of several models of HR Monitors a few months back. The report might still be available online.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
