I have a facebook but my fb friends don't know that I'm about to be banded. If you're still interested in being friends send me a private message on lbt.

There is a really great group on fb called Lap Band Divas and some of those women and men also use lbt. I would check out the group. It has been a great resource for me. I'm not going public with this process so it's a great way for me to have facebook friends that share in my experience without actually making them friends that may make comments that reveal my journey. :w00t:

I am on FB alot, but 90% of my FB friends do not know of the band. I have simply called my weightloss "the genisis project"

since Genisis is the begining. The importaint people know and everyone else I just as soon not deal with them on it.

Yes I am on Facebook also. Pretty much everyone on FB knows I’m either losing weight in some way or that I have had WLS. It doesn’t bother me if anyone knows or not, everyone there is super supportive and is very happy for me.

I am also in the LapBandDivas group. I don’t check in a whole lot but I do have many friends on my Facebook that are also members here.

If anyone wants to send me friend request, please PM me for my email address. Thanks!

I am on FB... everyone I know knows I had the surgery.. I have a photo album on there of before/after pics.. LOL I would love to be FB friends if you are interested... just let me know...

I'm on FaceBook but, frankly, a large portion of my friends are parrot heads and my page reflects that. Musicians, parties, invitations to parrot head events, comments about stuff at parrot head events. But I always welcome new friends! I'm just warning about the parrot head stuff so you don't think you stumbled into anything crazy, LOL.
