Lisa thanks for this thread. My surgery is 2 weeks away and I am scared to death. I'm not scared of the band, I'm not scared of the surgery pain, I'm not scared of PBing, I'm not scared of not being able to eat as much. I'm scared of not waking up after surgery, I'm AM scared of dying and leaving my little girl motherless I'm all teary eyed just writing this... (gosh I hope my boss doesn't walk out right now lol..I'm such a baby lol).

BUT !! I am not healthy, I am not active, I can't even ride a bike with my girl and its not getting better, being this fat is killing me physically and emotionally, so I know I have to do this. I want to be healthy even though I'm scared. Call it silly but its very very real to me.

Lisa, again, thank you so much for this thread, it really made me feel good today.

Michelle, congratulations you have done a super job. You have been such a inspiration for me. I have only been on this journey for two months, and when I've gotten depressed I come to LBT and read all the post and yours has been one that has always helped me. When I posted questions, you have always responded with great anwseres. you are such a great help.
