psych dr has LOST my papers......argh

Recommended Posts

How frustrating! My surgeon's office submitted everything to ins except my recent psych report. We've waited 2 weeks & psych said he's working on my report.

Finally today he admits he has lost the report I filled out so I have to fill out a 2nd one. He says once he gets my report it will be another 2 weeks before having any result to send to ins.

As stated earlier, I"m trying to speed this up due to my husband losing his job in October.

I'd like to wring someones neck......can I put THAT in the report?? lol

I can't BELIEVE that, since he lost it, he won't expedite it! GOOD GRIEF! Can you demand a refund and go to another doc? Or have your surgeon lean on him a little?

That's just nonsense. What a maroon.

I can only think these obstacles are being put in front of me as a test of my patience........

to top it off the drs office says they'll just fax me the test and I can just fax it back. I must be the ONE in a million who does NOT have a fax at my house  They sent the test in an email and I cant get it to open. :tt1:

I know there are bigger problems in the world going on but this is starting to wear on me

i don't blame you. I'd be crying too. Crying and breaking things. and then crying cuz I broke things.

If your doc is still open can you call and have them resend it? AND tell them you want them to pressure the psych to get it DONE?

The surgeon's fee actually includes the psych visit along with labs and other visits I need to qualify for in.

I did finally get the test to open, now to just relax with a cup of tea before taking the test LOL

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
