Any November 2009 Bandsters??

Hello all! I have an appointment Oct. 20th with my doctor and I will get my surgery date on that day. I was told by the office staff that it should be about two weeks from when I meet with him. Which means I will be a November 2009 Bandster. Anyone else out there yet with a prospective November surgery date? What are you going to do to kill time so you don't get too excited and jump out of your skin like I feel like I might!

Hi, I just got my insurance approval the other day. My surgery date is November 11th!

what exactly are you doing for the master cleanse?

I have my surgery set for Nov. 18. I'm beginning to worry about the pre operative diet. I can have apple, grape and cranberry juices, decaf coffee, tea, and sugar free jello. Also, I can have one protein shake a day. I'm thinking I'm going to be crazy hungry. I only have to be on it for 4 days. I've seen some people on it for 2 weeks. What did y'all do to cope? Any suggestions for diversions?:cursing:

I am sure I will be cleaning out a lot of cabinets and closets during my 2 weeks! LOL

Hi Everyone - first time poster. I'm having the surgery on 11/16/09 w/ Dr. Owen in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

Thrilled to see November bandsters. Scheduled surgery date is Nov 4th. Up right now and can't sleep. Surgery is 2 weeks away. Very excited and scared too. Thinking about pre op diet any suggestions to make it simple and easy to stick to?

Hi. I have been approved and my surgery is scheduled for November 16th. I still have the EGD scheduled for the 5th. Right now I guess I am scared because I feel hungry all the time.

Hi to all the November Bandsters!

I will be getting banded on November 17th, one day after my 40th B-day. I figured it is my way of starting the second half of my life on a positive note.

My 2 week pre-op diet consists of 2 Protein shakes and 2 healthy meals a day... doesn't sound to bad. I have decided to start it on November 1st, just to jump start my weight loss journey.

I would like to wish everyone good luck to your successful LAP-BAND® Journey!

I am getting banded on 11/13/07.

Got most of my pre-admission test done. Have to go back friday for blood work cause they could not find my vains today. My surgeon has not telling me to do diet prior to surgery but I think its a good idea so I will start tomorrow. I will be on vacation in Italy the week before surgery so that may be hard.

Well take care everyone

Hey everyone!!

I got my date today!!!! Nov 23rd. the monday before thanksgiving.. aaaaaaaaaaaand i don't care..

I'm so excited... yey

I just got my date scheduled....Nov 20 is the big day. I am so excited and scared at the same time. I had to start the lliquid diet monday. They need me to lose 20 lbs before my pre op date which is 10/28/09. I have been having a real hard time with it. I just keep thinking about why I am doing this and it gets me thru it. If we stick together we'll acheive our goals
