Sorry if this thread has already been started but I looked around a bit and couldn’t find one. I think that those of us who are scheduled for September need a place to support each other, help pass the time, and not spam up the boards with a thousand approved threads:tongue2:!!! I am so excited to being this journey. So, how about it? Any lost September banders out there? :ohmy::)

3 more days!! the 17th is the big day! I am so excited.. Just a little nervous just because I have never had surgery before. I have lost about 9-10lbs on liquids I feel like that is not enough. I have 3 days of clear liquids now so maybe that will help. Good luck to everybody having surgery the next couple days and congrats to all that have been banded! I can't wait to be a part of the bandsters!

I will be 2 weeks post-op tomorrow, and ready for mushy food! I also started back exercising, did a 45 min. run/walk yesterday, felt great. Still holding on to my 15 lbs lost, but nothing more in the past 10 days or so. This Bandster Hell is hard! Getting my first fill 9/30, I really hope it is enough to give me back that no hunger feeling!

I think you will keep your 15 lb loss as long as you continue to make good choices. You are very lucky to be getting a fill end of Sept. My surgeon is very strict ...no fills before 6 wks, plus I will be out of town on my sixth week so I will actually be 7 wks before a fill..uuughh

I will be banded on Thursday 9-17. In Mexico. Scared, but determined. I have been reading all your posts and feel much encouragment from them all. I am VERY worried about the LONG flight home on Saturday. Hope I feel up to it. How did you all feel two days after?

Im getting banded tommorow too.. I was fine but my twisted mind is now thinking strange things too.. bedtime cant come soon enough.. trying to find things to fill my day.. good luck to you!!

OK here is the pathetic plea. Could someone help me with getting my band date posted on our list ? I am not too great with this computer but hopefully I will get better with practice. I start my 13 day liquid protein tomorrow and my surgery is September 28. I am going with friends for one last fling with FOOD tonight. Thanks to all for this site!

How did all the 9-14 folks do today?

I went in at 7am and was banded and had hiatal hernia fixed. I'm still pretty sore, and the gas is bothering me.

HI,

I was banded this morning too. I am a little sore as well, but I feel fine. My gas actually isn't that bad, but I also took 2 gas X strips as soon as I got in the car on the way home. I have been taking my medicine every 4 hours too, so I think that is helping to keep my pain minimized. My mom went with me, and she said they told her I had a small hiatal hernia too, but they told her it only required like one stitch or something like that.....anyways, good luck with everything. Glad to be apart of the banded club!!
