Why I love my band. . .

I had a major NSV this weekend. I got stuck in the middle seat of an airplane for one leg of my flight to Austin. For years, I've been terrified of getting stuck in the middle because I knew that I'd be cramped and uncomfortable, and that the people on either side of me would just be hating me the whole time. BUT, at eight months post-op and 48 lbs down, I fit in that seat with a bit of room to spare!

Woo-hoo! :tongue_smilie:

That is AWESOME! I can't wait to be comfortable on airplanes!

BTW...I hope you have a great trip!

That is awesome! In recent years I have always needed a seatbelt extender. I just flew to California and on 3 of the 4 flights I fit great...even had some seat belt to spare :) But the last flight was on an older plane and I think the belts were smaller!!

Hi Catherine

I hear ya. I have a similar story to yours, started at about the same place too. Congratulations.

I'm flying to Orlando at the end of August and I'm anxious to see how I fit in the airplane seat. I hope I won't need a seatbelt extender. I didn't need one when I flew to Vegas 4 years ago and was 40 lbs heavier.
