Had surgery yesterday...Not to bad!!!

For those of you waiting for surgery, let me put your mind at ease. It really was not bad at all. The before part and thinking about it was worse than the surgery. For me the anathesia(?) was more bothersome than anything. I felt like I couldn't take a deep breath and something heavy was sitting on my chest, that's it. I'm sore from the surgery yes, but it's like I did a bunch of sit ups. When you do have your surgery, get plenty of rest/sleep but, also be sure to get up and walk every hour for 5 minutes, that helps alot! If you have any questions just ask. Remember think "skinny".:(

I'm glad things went well for you! I wish that was the case for everyone! I know many people have no problems and hardly any pain but that wasn't me! I'm great now but man o man I was awful the 1st week post op. Maybe my pain tolerance isnt so hot!!

Congrats on surgery and it being, "Not too Bad"!! I think its a little different for everyone but this is still uplifting to know your experience wasn't terrible!
