Doesn't your doc recommend one? They usually have a brand or specific NI they want you to have?

I am in the process of "testing" right now. I like the unjury chicken flavored and i also like the meijer brand chocolate. Also i like the fruit protien drinks from gnc.

Is unjury sold at retail anywhere?

My nutritionist will not advise me which shakes to drink until she recieves my cheque for $150.00 Hopefully that is today. The surgery is on Saturday however the class I need is on Sunday following the procedure. All the staff seem to think I will be fine to sit for 5 hours the next day through a class...

My absolute favorite Protein shake is from www.michaelthomasonline.com He only makes vanilla and chocolate but I always get the vanilla and mix what kind of flavow i want with it. This is the only shake I have found that actually thickens and doesn't have that yucky aftertaste. I used to like one called Diet Fuel by Twinlab but I can't find it anymore.

My favorite Protein shake is Muscle Milk. It doesn't have the Vitamin taste to it. The Special K shakes and protein waters are really good too.

No offense to you or anyone else intended, but that's horsesh**. Both the nutritionist and the staff intentions. :(

Much of a power trip, there, Nutritionist Lady?

I am SO with you on that, TT... it's only the name of a shake for goodness sake! I would have been seriously irritated at that.

My surgeon has never hidden what shakes he wants me to use (optifast) and, in fact, in a little over a week I am going to start using them earlier than he suggested for my daytime Meal Replacements and still have dinner at night until the pre-op diet commences and THEN replace dinner with the shake as well. It's my personal pre-pre-op diet... lol
