Without fruit, especially watermelon, frozen oranges, and frozen peaches.
I am a Florida girl, and I am used to having watermelon, oranges, peaches, plums and such in the freezer ready to eat at anytime, better than an icepop. And now I see that I will not be allowed fruit until 6-12 months after surgery, after approximatly 75% of my excess has been lost.
Has anyone else had this type of restriction from their doctors post lap band surgery?
That seems like such a long time for such good items. Take my ice cream, my Pasta, and even my rice, but my fruit, now those are fighting words.
