After I had my surgery in January the gas pain was horrible!! I tried everything from walking to over the counter gas pain relief pills. Then I remembered having to call a doctor one night at work about a patient who had had lap. gall bladder removal & was experiencing gas pain so bad that nothing was helping (I'm a nurse - we had already tried gas-x with no results). The doc gave me an order for "GLYCERINE SUPPOSITORIES". They worked!!! They also worked for me after my LB surgery. I didn't think of them until about 3 days post-op. It was immediate relief!! I had to use them for about 2 days. I wish I had thought of them before the surgery. I know, noone wants to use suppositories. But they really do work! I promise! LOL!!...........

Yer a better woman than me if you are able to get them things up there where they need to go.......

You know, when your in that much pain, it really doesn't matter who does it.

When my appendix burst (and they couldn't figure out what was wrong w/me) I didn't care who poked or prodded me, all I wanted was the pain to be gone.... my pride disapeared since then lol.

It took me awhile after I porked on a zillion pounds to figure out how to wipe my butt, My arm was to short!! I hate to admit, my butt was too big.

I hate that gas, I would rather have a root canal.

my friend Katerzz told me about the chewable gas x and that is what made it bearable for me. Not to mention the morphine and the phenergan I was getting IV while i was in the hospital.
