Jeni is altering her body and shedding the extra material!!

Hi all!!!:w00t:

OK, after visiting many plastic surgeons and thinking long and hard about my decision i have come to the final decision.

Dr. Leonard Lu, M.D., F.A.C.S (New Horizons Center for Cosmetic Surgery. Skokie, IL)

I'm having plastic surgery this year... Actually, my first surgery is scheduled for March 12th and the next one is sometime in June.. My Surgeon it was too much to do in one operation.

Surgery # 1: March 12, 2009 Agenda (6 hours)

Belt Lipectomy/Lower body lift:

This includes:

**Lipo of back/stomach/legs/and mons for contouring.

**Also in this procedure i will have a mons lift (that area should not be so sad and droopy lol:redface:)

**And a brazillian butt lift (where he will take some of what he lipos out and injects it into my bottom to make it fuller and more round)

Surgery # 2: June 2009 (4 hours)

*Brachioplasty (extended down to bra line to get rid of the "side boobs"!!!

*Inner Thighplasty ( inner front butt)

*Lipo of upper back near bra line

I am beyond excited about this process.. I know that maybe it would be better to wait a little longer but i think after all the opinions ive had now is a good time. All the surgeon say that even if i plan on losing another 15lbs after surgery that my results wouldnt be altered because they pull everything so tight!!

My weight has been at a basic stand still since october and well quite frankly i am comfortable at my size right now.. The only problem i have is that i cant stand the extra materials hanging down, they need to get altered and quick.. Hey i got rid of my baggy clothes why wouldn't i do this..

My Pre-Op stuff is already done and ive put down my down payment and surgery #1 is scheduled... No turning back now.

I'll keep you Posted!!

:)

P.S. Oh and i believe that this may be the thing i need to do to finally feel like a normal person.. Needless to say my brain is still having a hard time catching up with the weight-loss.. Just a great way to end this chapter in my life

I know, Jeni going first (well out of the three of us) has helped me too.

She's just so darn enthusiastic about it all.

Lellow hopefully you'll be back and posting before I head out on the 6th.

I can't wait so see everyone results!

Ladies good luck in surgery!!! And don't worry everything will turn out great!!!

I know you ladies will be nervous beforehand but that's normal and i went through it as well... and trust me i was a nervous wreck!!!

And thanks for those wonderful words ladies...

Just remember how great you will look after!!!

Word advice... make sure too find a plastic chair that will fit in your bathtub or shower.... this way you will be ale to shower sooner (and trust me you will be desperate to!!), this is because you wont be able to stretch completely , or stand to long either.. and with being on heavy pain meds not to safe to go standing in a wet bathtub:tongue_smilie:.. oh and have someone help you bathe!!

I figured i would let you know this ahead of time so your prepared!! I was shocked because i thought i was and the plastic chair didnt fit in the tub.... i sat on a step stool.. not very comfy r easy to use for that matter....

Make sure to keep me posted how things go... im excited for you ladies!!!

Hi Jenny,

Congratulations! You are actually very inspiring. I am not having a surgery yet but I am encouraged by your success. I have consulted a plastic surgeon before and he was really nice and professional - explained to me everything from pre-op to post-op, consequences, side effects, etc. But something came up so I had to cancel it. For now, I am just watching my diet.

Good lucky girl!!!!!!!!!

Report back ASAP. How many drains do you have?

I had 4 drains, and they are all gone!!!! Yay!!!

My surgeon said im healing very well, and the incisions are looking great. He took out almost all of the stitches, only has a few more left, i have to see him next week.

He also wrote me a note for work so i could get a couple more days at home till friday.....

Well got to go to class...

I'm taking 6 weeks off work, because I can.

I'm looking forward to getting all kinds of things accomplished after the first could of weeks of actually recovering.

Great news on getting those drains out Jeni!

I've got 4 weeks off with a possibility of another 2 weeks if I need it. I expect unless I'm feeling really badly, I'd prefer to come to work! I have a desk job anyway, and work is pretty fun, but we'll see how I feel.

Wohooo on getting the drains out!! Your going to feel so much better without them.

Wow! You must be so excited!! I see you "lost" a few tattoo's in the process? LOL I have one of those on (what should be) my front bikini line. It started out 2 feathers when I was 18 and after 3 children and a hundred pounds on and now 50 pounds off it sorely resembles a lobster! HAHAHA I'm hoping when I am as lucky as you to get my PS, the Doc can make that disappear too!!! CONGRATS ON YOUR SUCCESS!!!

Jeni, thanks for the pictures and best wishes on your fast approaching round 2. I am eagerly awaiting more pictures. You are looking wonderful!!!

Mimi

jeni...good luck tomorrow......
