I haven't yet. But, I plan to. I meet with Dr. Robinson on 3/17!

I'm scheduled for surgery in three weeks with Dr. Lautz (yikes). I've been pretty satisfied with the process thus far.

I highly recommend going to a bunch of information sessions and hearing the different doctors speak. It will really help with your decision to choose a Dr. I really liked a couple, and others not so much...it's the perfect way see what you like and don't like in a surgeon.

Also - Check out the Massachusetts-specific forum - there is a huge thread dedicated to Brigham and Faulkner patients!

hey there, no I am sorry I am getting mine done at Lahey Clinic Hospital in Burlington, MA. It's closer to me. I am sure you will be fine at Brighams though, everyone knows its a great hospital!

Has anyone here had their lap band surgery done at Brigham and Women's or Faulkner Hospital in Boston?

Hi there. There is a thread already dedicated just for the Brigham and faulkner. I just met with Dr. Robinson this week for my first appt. If everything goes according to plan he is saying May/June for a band date.

Come over and meet the newbies, and the veterans all from Brigham.

I had surgery at faulkner with Dr. Vernon. I love the single rooms. I also had surgery at brighams 3 months later. It went very well. They are both teaching hosipital so you get alot of traffic. I would highly recommend my surgeon as well as brighams/faulkner.
