  3. My EDG showed a good amount of reflux which was from my sleeve. Had the bravo probe placed to measure the reflux for 2 days. Showed severe reflux. My decision to go ahead with the surgery or take omperazol for the rest of my life. Sorry your going through this too, it’s a total bummer.

  6. I had my revision on Dec 14th. At first I thought it had definitely worked but the past few weeks the reflux is back with a vengeance. I’m at a loss as to why it’s still happening too. ?

  9. Come to find out, mine was caused by taking my meds and vitamins on an empty stomach. I eat breakfast first then the meds. It’s cured my issue, so maybe it can help you too.

  11. Funny. Don’t think so since I’m pushing the big 60.

  13. I’m 7 weeks out and have the weirdest thing happening. Just about every morning I have the symptoms of dumping and this happens on an empty stomach. Vomiting, diarrhea, chills and lightheaded. How can this happen on an empty stomach? Anyone else experienced this?
  14. No, but I personally think it was a muscle pull from the surgery. It lasted almost 2 weeks and slowly went away everyday. The more I stretched it the better it felt.
  15. Hi, I’m scheduling for a ultrasound and bloodwork. He thinks it was a gallbladder attack. Good luck with your appointment and I hope you feel better.
  16. I called and have appointment tomorrow with my surgeon. They’re thinking gallbladder too but I’ll see what happens tomorrow. Liquid diet for now. Thanks for your post
  17. Hopefully someone can shed light on what’s happening. I’m 5 weeks post op and today I’ve had horrible constant pain in my upper abdomen. Every time I eat the pain is worse, I’ve only had my shake and couldn’t finish it. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  18. Thanks. It’s been over a couple of weeks with this pain but it seems to lessen the more I move around. It’s really weird, almost like it tightens up when I sit or sleep.
  19. That sounds so awful!! I’m so sorry your going through that. Very true about the glue, nobody knows if they’re allergic to it until they use it. Best of luck healing.
  20. Had gastric bypass on 12/14 due to acid reflux, was sleeved in 2013. This time around it’s been an incredibly tuff recovery and I was wondering if anyone has experienced the pulling and burning pain near your biggest incision area? Not sure what’s happening this time around because I never experienced this before. ?
  21. I’m 16 days post op. Same thing is happening to me except it’s on my right side at waist level. This pain is a horrible burning, ripping and muscle spasm type of pain. I really hope this goes away soon. ?

  23. I just had my revision on 12/14 because of acid reflux. Good for you for fighting to have your revision done. Best of luck.
