Ooh, well done TQ!

Havent checked in for a while, but have been keeping up my usual routine.

Except this morning, I went and did a Body Step class :-) Last time I did step it was called Step Reebok and you wore a g string leotard and leg warmers, lol.

But it was good fun - not tooooo easy, but not to challenging either, of course you can add jumps and a lot of arms to beef a step class up but I was struggling with the disadvantage of being rather spaz at it, lol.

Nonetheless I can feel sore legs coming on - tons of torturous low squat and lunge moves. I promised Doug a circuit tonight, so I'll keep that to treadmill and upper body.

tomorrow I promised Eliza she could ride her bike to school again so that's a 9km round trip run for me.

Last night was upper body. I switched from circuit training to supersets. Last night was "light" weights with 15 reps per exercise per superset. In all, I did 12 supersets. I added in something new last night. After each SS, I did 10 pushups touching my chest to the ground each time. At least, after the first 10 SS. The last two, I could only get 7 & 8 pushups respectively.

Followed that with 25 minutes on elliptical.

This morning was 2 miles @ 1% incline in 20 minutes. 10 minute cooldown followed by 23 minutes on elliptical.

Later, I'll try to get in some more cardio. Tonight will be legs and maybe a little more cardio.

Just wrapped up another session of cardio. Did what I believe are called "ladders" on the treadmill. Not sure if I had it right or that is what I did is actually called, but here is what I did:

Min. 1: 6 mph/1% incl

Min. 2: 7 mph/1% incl

Min. 3: 6 mph/1 % incl

Min. 4: 8 mph/1%

Min. 5: 6 mph/1%

Min. 6: 9 mph/1%

Min. 7: 6 mph/1%

Min. 8: 10 mph/1%-this one KILLED me. I barely made the 1 minute sprint.

Min. 9: 6 mph/0 incl

Min. 10: 7 mph/1% incl

Jogged at 6 mph for :49 to get to 1.25 miles. Then, 10 minute cooldown. Followed that with 20 minutes on elliptical.

Still got legs tonight.

I did fartlets! I'm still not exactly sure what they are but I went around that damn track 12 times by the time it was over. How long a distance is that?

ROFLMAO Mac - its fartlek - basically sprints or intervals.

I think fartlets are those little pops you do when you're trying not to fart while running!:)

I ran Eliza to school today but got 3/4 home again of the way (about 8kms) when my knee started acting up. Darn step aerobics, I'm too old for stuff like that I guess. Its the outside of my knee, ITB. I guess I'll be in the pool for a couple of days

I never get injured unless I do an aerobics class, lol. Every single time I do it, it happens.

Just to make sure my knee got better, I spent last night walking around in high heels, lol.

I've got my bathers on, as soon as I drop the kids to school, going to the pool. Knee is nothing too bad but I'd better not run on it for a few days. I'm thinking my regular circuit will be fine with steep incline walking on the treadmill rather than running.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
