Cramerk Dr. Ortiz is doing my surgery too. I am leaving on the 24th and will have it done on the 25th. I will let you know how it goes. Are you going back for the first fill or are you using a fill center? Is anyone else having their surgery with Dr. Ortiz around the 25th. Maybe we can get together down there.

Kimmiev3.. I haven't decided on whether to go back to Ortiz or not, but I am open to it if you wanted to partner up. I am traveling on my own and would love to find a travel buddy. Also, please let me know how it goes, I am starting to get nervous. Although after my first day on the P/O diet, I am starting to look at my dog's bones and drool. We won't talk about the caffeine withdrawl.

My surgery date is tomorrow March 16, 2009. I would love to me part of the group. Have you got an official name yet?

If I remember correctly I think it is the Lucky Losers, but I am really not sure, I have been seeing alot of different ones... But I like the Lucky Losers for March...

I don't know about all of you but I am a little scared, excited but scared. My goodness it seems like it took for ever for this date to get here but at the same time I can't believe it's already here. I really want this for myself and am deffinetly pumped up for tomorrow, but am a little worried about the pain.

Well here's to our new lives beginning tomorrow.

You feel like I do except I am not worried about the pain; I am more worried about making sure I get through all 5 stages of drinking and eating. I just don't want to do something wrong and I hope I am not hungry like I have been sometimes on this preop liquid diet and jello. You are the first one I have found that is being banded tomorrow.

I have added you to my friend list so we can keep in touch easier after the surgery. Good luck tomorrow. Mine is at 11:30; what time is yours? Are you coming home the same day or are you staying over? I am not sure yet. Going to wait and see how I feel.

Hi all! I was banded just a couple days ago. Other than the port site pain:redface:, I'm doing really good I think. I'm still in amazement that with as little as I'm sipping (remember it is clear liquids for 2 days after) I'm just not hungry! That feeling, or lack of feeling, is so strange for me NOT to have. I'm amazed!

And loving every minute of it! I'm 3 weeks to the day behind my hubbys band date. He's already looking like a different man. (I put up his photos in the photo section)
