Me too, same as you! I'm very hungry today and clear liquids aren't doing much to aleviate that. My plan is to get as ready as I can tonight then swallow a couple of benadryls and go to bed. Have to be at the hospital at 7:45 tomorrow! I sure am excited! How about you? :)

Miss Can-Do,

I'm SO glad to hear that your surgery went well, sounds like they gave you the liquid Versid early, good! Yeah, I'm 5 days out now and still feel a bit sore but nothing like I thought I'd feel. I do get indigestion, mostly in the mornings, I have to learn to drink my liquids more slowly. Yesterday was the first day I felt any hunger, had a 1/4 cup of tomato soup, boy was that yummy! It took away the hunger, hope it will always be this easy!

Miss Cheryl: I'm happy to hear you're doing well too. Yesterday was my first day the stomach growling so I watered down some tomato soup and you're correct- It was AWESOME! haha. I didn't even get 1/4 cup down, only a couple of tbsp full. Liquids seem to be going down much easier as the days go by. So far seems we're both on the right track! We're DOING GREAT! I hope it keeps like this too, if so I'll be down to my goal weight in no time.

I am getting banded tomorrow as well! I've been on liquids for 2 weeks and I'm really not that hungry..unless of course It's been awhile and I was in need of an additional shake, or some broth..Anway, I'm so excited for tomorrow...Good luck to the rest of you being banded tomorrow..

Kerrie:thumbup:

I'm tommorrow as well. I'm a little apprehensive but mostly just want to get on the other side of the surgery. The clear liquids are going ok but I don't much care for the affects of the magnesium citrate I had to drink.

Best of luck to all of us.

Waiting on my surgery date...it won't be March, but I sure like the excitement of this group! Good luck to you all.

Msperson...Thats awesome. My surgeon called me Thursday and told me they had the 11th open, so I jumped on it. I have been on the liquids for only 4 days. Its all good now, the first day I was lightheaded and miserable, I just slept, lol

I am wondering how to fill the void that food will leave...

This is my biggest concern. I hope I am able to deal well witht he Head Hunger but i know I have some bad habits that I need to address. I may go to the psychologist my surgeon's office recommends so I can cope the best I can.

Food has been my comfort and my friend but it is time for us to part ways.
