they have my surgery scheduled now for the 11th 1 rockin mom! I was suppose to be banded the 12th but they moved it up one day! the first day of liquids was so bad i was so sick but now its day 7 and its down pat!

i could not do the shakes so i use the proslam 45 protein bullets. taste like a melted popsicle. so much easier for me to take! they are almost 4 dollars a tube but they have 45 grams of protein in them and you only have to drink them once a day and get the rest of the protein from other sources. so far in day 7 of my liquid diet i have dropped 16 pounds!

i just tell myself about the bikini i might get or the victorias secret i want! Just focus and also alot of pizza and tv dinners for the family! i also took out any food i would eat!

hi i have aetna and had to submit 5 years of medical history with your weight on it. i dont know how hold you are but it had to be 5 years past history. Aetna is one of the easiest to get approved for! Good luck!

munger it will help with the cravings. i havent had soda in 3 days and im fine and i was a big coke addict! I love cheese and can have cottage cheese on this liquid diet.

I am being banded next thursday the 12th and cannot wait im so excited and i am glad to see others just as excited as me on here! you would not belive the negativity i have heard from others (i think they are gealous!)

i lost 30 pounds before surgery and was approved. i gained 10 back due to meidcation and i am sure youll be approved! Good luck and if you have to do 3 more month just think its only 3 more months! I had to do 6 months also and aetna approved me. I would think 10 pounds would show them you need the surgery badly!

I went to one in FEb and the seminar was very helpful. They did pass a band around and explained everything. They even had doorprizes! They will take any questions you have. Good luck

go to your reg doctor and tell him put me on a diet and monitor me for 6 months! make sure he documents your progress and hopefully this will work! also can you use your surgeon that will do your surgery? i am using mine but my insurance covers it.

They do this mostly to get you ready to change your lifestyle! Its a good learning tool! Dont give up just cause of this! It will be worth it! You have waited most of your life whats six months? The people on here are so friendly and they will help you. Also most offer a support group in your area!

I have same insurance and I think they just want to know that you tried everything! Did you have to have 5 year medical history? I did. I would not worry to much!

i took that stuff in the early 90s on and off and it is only short term! I lost alot of weight but gained it back and then some! Good luck!

i think they just want to see how long you have been overweight. i had to get my 5 year history to.
