I have been on only one cruise but they do not skimp on food! Okay now I want to see bikini shots!! Did you let anyone take any of you? I hope so, you need to show off that new bod!! You will get plenty of excersize so don't worry about having dessert you will be fine! Have a wonderful time and take lots of pictures!

I found out the hard way that you can't go back to your old eating habits. I got in the habit of eating pretzels and cheese sauce every night, well I gained 4lbs!! I cut them out completly and I lost the 4lbs very quickly. It just goes to show that the sleeve is a tool, and you need to keep working it! Good luck everyone, I'm still 2lbs from goal! I will make it, I promise!

Hi sweet friend!! You are doing FABULOUS!!! I just love reading your updates!! I'm super jealous of you going on a cruise, I have been on one and it was the best. I loved all the food, I think I could go on one now and not have food be the most important thing! I did not use the gym, but I swam and did water aerobics everyday. Great memories! Have a great time, and I know you will!!!

Welcome MaryAnn My sister just had surgery with Dr Rodriguez 2 1/2 weeks ago, she was VERY happy with everything. She said the hospital was great, and the care was wonderful! Good luck to you, and keep us posted!

Hey I have decided to start fresh tomorrow and get back on the wagon! I still want to lose at least 5 more lbs, so I'm going to make a more aggressive try at it! We took the dogs to the vet for their yearly checkup and shots, and are oldest needs to lose some weight. So that will give more incentive to walk/jog them more often and longer! I think I should be able to get 5 lbs off in a week if I really push it, wish me luck!! How was your 4th? We went to my hubby's sisters house on Lake Union, it was cold!

Oh No you passed me!!! I'm still at 152 lbs...ugh! and you are a smaller size in clothes than I'am. I'm very happy for you! I don't know what is wrong with me, I just feel like I can eat more than I should, and of course I do. I'm happy with my weight loss, but would like to lose more. I know what to do to get there, just don't want to feel like I'm on a constant diet. Does any of that make sense? I feel like maybe my sleeve is not as small as I would like it to be. For an example you can only eat 2-4 oz at a sitting, I can eat WAY more than that. Okay enough complaining, and onto a holiday weekend! I hope you have a great weekend.

Janet, it looks like you are right on target with your test results! That is great, I need to go in and have labs done. So your Dr. does not want you to lose anymore? I mentioned to my family yesterday that I would like to lose 10 more lbs. You would have thought I said a dirty word, they all jumped on me saying NO, don't lose anymore!! I like all of me except my thighs! I wish I could just have them done, then I would feel great!! Sometimes I wonder why I pick on myself so much, but I'm the one that has to look at me. So I want to like what I see!!

My sister just got home today, she said her surgery went great! She said it was so much easier than when she got the band. She said Dr. Rod was great, only saw him before the surgery, but had other Dr's checking in on her. She said the hospital was nice and she was treated very well. I'm so happy for her!! Now she can really start losing weight!

Sounds like my journey with the band, I lost weight for 6 months and that was it! I started having trouble right after that, could not eat. I would eat 2 bites and spend 1/2 hour in the bathroom, it was awful. Since my sleeve, I'm in love with weight loss again!! I have had NO problems, and I can eat anything!! The band should be BANNED!!! Short and simple. PS I like your comment about Bin Laden...lol

Mary Good luck tomorrow!! You will do great, I have faith in you! Yes it is normal to get all wishy washy right before surgery, so you are no different than any of the rest of us. Please keep us posted when you can!

My sister just had revision surgery last Friday with him, I have not spoke to her yet. I do know that she did very well and thought the revision hurt less than the band. She is flying home today, and I will talk to her then. I will keep you posted. Good luck!

Jaffa Now that was good, I wish i would have thought about doing that!!! Those things are just awful!! How are you by the way?? And when are you going to do your revision?
