Almost 5 weeks out!

Well Ladies & Gents, I'm excited to say I am almost 5 weeks out and I've lost approx. 20% of my weight I've projected to lose!!! I have not needed to take anything for my Diabetes or high blood pressure since the day of surgery, my clothes are definitely looser, and I'm more grateful than these words can express! Life is good and I'd like to say thanks to all you for your input! This is a wonderful website which has inspired me through ya'll's experience, strength and hope! Thanks again, Sheryl:aureola:

Well done sheryl..... what a life change you have made already with your meds..... just think where you'll be this time next year with your sleeve!!

Keep up the good work

Kathy

Sheryl -

I am so happy for you!!! I can't wait to be where you are, it must feel sooooo good!

It is wonderful to hear that you are doing so well and you are happy. I get anxious about the surgery and keep talking myself out of it.. then later I look at myself in the mirror or in photos and I talk myself back into it... I am a giant chicken lately. hehe It is nice to see so many people doing so well. :)

:001_rolleyes:Just wanted to add a side note to you. I've seen a couple of your postings about your fear. If everything has fallen into place for you, then I feel this will be your path too. Could some of the fear be some of that 'ol self sabatoge? I've always excelled in that area, but for once in my life I decided to follow fate and see where it takes me. So far so good. I just take things One day at a time. It makes life & goals so much more attainable!!! Join us on the losers bench!!!

Great job! Realize that now you inspire all of us pre-ops to stay strong and join you on that losers bench! Thank you for the update, keep um coming!

Thanks! As they say: "Pass it on" and I will continue to, it also makes my plite that much easier too! :wink1:Sheryl

Well done Sheryl. It's stories like yours that keeps us(pre ops) excited. I can tell just by the tone of your thread you are very happy. Best wishes for continued success.

Deb

Congrats! Doesn't it feel great to have clothes that are loose again?

Tomorrow I have some lab tests to see where my levels are. Hopefully I can stop taking some pills also! Keep up the great work!
