  2. Hi Janet!! You are doing so well!!! And you look great!! Yes I would love to have lunch next week, lets try to put something together. I will be gone in just a few minutes and won't be taking my lap top with me, I will check back in tomorrow night. I have a free nights stay at Tulalip, so my sister and my niece are going with me. We got an upgrade to a suite, so we are going to go to a very nice dinner, some gambling and hit the hot tub and pool!! I'm super excited! Talk to you later!

Good luck on your journey!! The slleve is the BEST thing I have ever done for me!!
  4. Hey you two!!! That looks nummy!! And Janet you look awesome!!! Great job on your weight loss! Sam it won't be long and you will be right there!! Good luck my friend!

Going for a long walk and not being pooped 6. Having men really look at me 7. Not being invisible anymore!!!! 8. Getting rid of my fat pants (size 12) And like the rest of us SOOO many more!!
  6. Congrats!!! Good luck to you!
  7. LOL!!! That was pretty funny! I have never had any leather riding pants, but I might just consider it now. You would never see my big fat ass in those before I lost my weight!!
  8. Hi Nannie G I wish I could tell you how I set my goal?? Well actually I set it at 150, and now that I'm almost there, I think I will add a little more! LOL I just can't decide if I'm really even worried about a number anymore, as much as being comfortable in my clothes. My weight loss has almost completly stopped, unless I really work it. I don't count calories, or even watch what I eat per say. I just eat small amounts. Good luck!!
  9. Congrats!!!!! We will scoot on down and leave you some room!!
  10. Sometimes if I have too much dairy in a day, it will cause gas. I love all dairy products so I just deal with it. Janet I finally broke my stall and lost some more weight, I'm 2lbs from goal. I think I'm going to add 5 more though. I'm so wishy washy when it comes to my goal weight, just can't decide on a number. I think when my clothes feel just right I will stop LOL!
  11. I'm 5 months out and I still have trouble eating slower, I wish I could learn to slow down. And yes sometimes it hurts a little if I eat too fast, especially dense foods. And yes fried foods tend to make me gassy, and not having a BM for a few days will do it too!! LOL
  12. Great job on the weight loss, and awesome bike!! I ride too, but nothing that nice!!
  13. When did the gas pains start? Was it right after eating the food? Or was it a day later? Did you try gas-x? Also I got constipated at about 3 weeks, the pain you are feeling might be that. Keep me posted K?
  14. Hey Stacy I thought of something else, when I had my 2 month stall I still lost inches. I was a size 10 snug, now I'm a baggy 10 or a fitted 8. So even if it does not show on the scale you are losing. Another thing that makes a difference is the amount of excersize you do. If you work out lots, you will build muscle. So again, don't sweat it, you will do great!!
  15. Stacy I just wanted to tell you that you had a smaller amount of weight to lose, so you will lose slower than others. I was in the same boat, and I had to stop comparing myself to others. There is NO way you can have the sleeve and not lose weight, you might just be one of "us" that loses a little slower. I only had 70lbs to lose and it has taken me a long time, don't sweat it! Good luck, and happy losing!
  16. Good luck Diann!! You will do GREAT!!!
  17. I went back to work in a week, and I had a very busy job. You will be just fine. Good luck!!
  18. Mini I'm so sorry I missed this post, I would have said something sooner!! You are doing soooooo great!! Doesn't it feel so good?? Love it!! Normal??? That doesn't usually apply to me for many reasons (LOL ), but it finally does for BMI. As of Saturday's weigh-in, my BMI is 24.9. I'm less than 20 pounds from my goal of a 21.8 BMI. I can hardly believe it. In less than 17 weeks, I have gone from OBESE to NORMAL. How is that possible?!?!?!?!? That NEVER, NEVER, NEVER would have happened without this surgery. Yahoo!!! Thanks to everyone for your kind words, thoughts and encouragement. The weightloss has been getting slower, but I'm going to keep plugging away. Those 20 pounds may take another 17 weeks, but they will come off. Thanks for being part of my journey!!!!
  19. Nikki FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!! Okay we need more pictures, gotta see that bod!!
  20. Truth is always the best way to go, he will resent you later on for not feeling like you could let him in on your secret!
  21. Jerry You are doing great!! You don't need that scale anyway, just go by how your clothes feel! Good luck and happy losing!
  22. Is it close to your time of the month?? That would explain some weight gain, or even too much salt in a day or two can cause it. Don't sweat it, you will continue to lose. I think we all worry that we won't lose, but you will!! Just keep doing what you are supposed to and the weight will come off. Good luck!!
  23. WOW!!! You are doing great!! And look wonderful!
  24. Rollermom You have made the best possible decision, well as far as I'm concerned!! For me the band was a disaster, and I only had it 9 months. I had my revision, and now I'm 2 lbs from goal!!! I could not be happier with my decision. The sleeve is so easy and carefree, just eat and go. I felt it was a much easier transition than the band. I have been able to eat ALL foods, just smaller portions. Please keep us posted, we care!!
