I'm not sure how I got left in the dust, but the spreadsheet is not updated for me, as of last sunday i was 235. I'm really proud of those 26#'s gone! Now for February I want to try for 10. So add me in and forgive me for not checking in weekly, don't forget I am a Mom of 4 little ones and computer time is not always an option! Thanks, you guys really do inspire me, and keep me motivated, I do promise to update my ticker at least weekly! Congrats everyone we are doing soooo good, keep it up!

My weigh in for the week is -3.5lbs. I did get my 2nd fill a week and a half ago plus I've had a sore throat for a week now....it hurts so bad to swallow...I've done my best to get around 900-1000 calories in and had lots of hot tea. The Dr said it's just a virus, hope it goes away soon :)

I'm going to Denver today with a friend and picking up my daughter and we are going to have a girls day shopping and having fun. I can't remember the last time I did this. I'm so excited.

Hope everyone has a great weekend. Keep up the good work!!!

Got you all added.

Sue, what is your goal for the month of Feb? and what was your starting weight for Feb so we can update the spreadsheet for you? We each weigh on different days but (Pete weighs on Fri, I weigh on sat, etc) and then we post it once a week.

I havent checked in on this thread in a while, weigh loss has slowed a little but it's still going in the right direction. I'm 332 as of this morning. the doc did'nt fill me last month because I was losing so fast. I will have a fill on thursday though. He is planning on "taking up the slack" he will fill the band then let go of the plunger and let it back out until it stops, anyone heard of this?

I WILL pass the 50 lb mark in the morning YAH FREAKIN HOOO!!!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
