What I Love About the LAPBAND

I love that I can eat virtually anything that I loved before. I just eat less of it. God must have known what He was doing on this one.

I have to confess. At this point, I am still not getting a lot of exercise. It is soooo icy outside and my treadmill is freakin' out. Just think how much more I could be losing if I was actually doing something!

I love my band!

Well done on your loss-keep up the good work, the exercise will soon follow as the lbs drop off!

The thing I love most about my band,is somedays when my willpower is low-and the easiest thing in the world to do is eat and eat.....my bands willpower is always there and reminds me I cant! Best friend in the world that. lol

Happy banding.

I agree with sistasassy. I eat what I ate before but so much less. My calorie intake is less than 1,200a day, before the band it was around 3,500 calories a day.

I can exercise and enjoy it now. Before it was a chore and it was hard with the excess weight.

32 Pounds gone and so much more to go, but I am looking forward to the journey.

Enjoyed reading this! What I love about my band is when my willpower is zip.... the band steps up! I am 6 months out from surgery, and I am still in the "learning" stage, but I have learned to recognize my "stopping point"........... which is a BIGGIE! Good luck all! and hope to see "less of you" soon!

I have been a wimp on the exercise lately as well. It is just sooo darn cold I don't want to go outside to even go to the gym. I feel your pain.

I haven't had a fill yet so I have been able to eat everything so far but am not able to eat the large portions like I'm used to because I do have some restriction. I've been avoiding the scale though because my appetite has definitely increased.

I LOVE my lapband, too. I haven't been working out as much as I was because of the busy-ness of the holiday season -- but my band has kept my eating in check and I've lost a few pounds over the past couple of weeks. Amazing!
