Wow Trish! Those are great! I like how you did the toothpick holder. The paint/glaze on it especially. The other one is really neat with the leaves, and looks like it was hard!

Lisa- what kind of room do you mean? Like Fantasy backgrounds n' stuff?

Trish, can I place an order? We had our pool retiled, and I want a couple ceramic trinkets to hang on the back wall that will POP to bring the colors of the pool tile to life. You know, like a cobalt blue snake or a brown lizzard walking up the wall behind the pool. I was thinking a couple lizard or Kokapeli figures surrounded by some plain squares or geometric shapes. Can you do simple, basic things? Is that something you can do? Can I afford you?

Mari, I have nothing but white on my walls. I'd love a foxy hot chick painted in my boring little laundry room. A girl that looks like me with great big boosoms holding a laundry basket, making laundry look sexy (to tie in with the piles of dirty laundry that hubby tosses on the floor NEXT to the empty hamper.) I think that would be so cool considering the laundry room leads to the garage where the Harleys are.

Lisa ~ I don't know when I'd be out to Vegas next, but I wouldn't be apposed to coming out there to do something like that. I did a mural in my bedroom a long time ago when I was in highschool. It never got finished, but it was looking pretty cool, lol..

I'm prolly working all weekend, but let me see if I can't sketch up something worth looking at ;). I'll have to find out how acrylic paint holds up in a humid atmosphere, just because of the dryer, and I'd hate for it to start to peel or something, lol.

Pushaw! I'm well aware of that thankyouverymuch ;).

Mostly I meant in the laundry room because of the washer and dryer running and causing their OWN humidity. :)

Sure I will make anything I can get my hands on... hehehe I will drop by the ceramic place this weekend and see if I can get some good ideas... I charge for the price of supplies and firings and shipping (in your case i will just drive them out to you) and depending on how hard it is to make or the time it takes sometimes i dont even charge for the work at all because I love doing it. I got a great idea of what your looking for, so I will price it all for you if you want.

P.S. I am making you something special for having this Vegas Bash (shhhhhh)

In case you missed it the first time smile.gif

Besides dancing for the Dallas Mavericks I love to play softball and I dabble in graphic arts and website design.

Here is an example of my work http://awermuth.fotopages.com/?entry=241907

I also created my own weightloss tracker in case you didn't notice smile.gif

If anyone has any high resolution photos they would like me to spice up, or a personalized weightloss tracker PM me. No charge of course. I'm not a professional..yet smile.gif

That's some pretty cool stuff there. Are you self taught like me?

Crystal, I haven't finished anything yet, but I've started a little... I s'pose that might count for something, haha.

Thank you. Yes I taught myself. I got Photoshop and jumped right in. Recently I've also gotten into Illustrator. Can't wait to see more of your work! This is my first creation in Illustrator, from a picture I drew a few years ago.

I've always thought the blackandwhites with a focus color point were neat.

DeLarla, what would your sexy self be wearin' while you did laundry? :):D

So as to prove I've not been slacking, I thought I'd post something. It's not finished, but I need input on part of it as asked in my last post :)

I'm not sure about the face yet, and I don't think my drawing does her hair justice...

Oh, and I'm not so good with the feets...

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
