Ah Tamra don't be shy.........if I can go to hip hop fitness with my daughter than you can go to zumba!! ;-)

You could try it at home first. I know they have zumba VHS's and possibly DVD's by now. Check the thrift stored for cheap VHS's and DVDS!! I got some good oldies there...........

Try it at home first and see if you like it or get your groove down and than go to a class.

I wish we all lived closer. I would go to the gym more if I had someone to go with me :-)

When your losing fast the thrift store is great for jeans. I have gone to get jeans a couple of time...........5 bucks. And yea they only last 2-3 weeks but better than 40 bucks..........than I bring them to the support groups to the clothing exchange.

I have a bag of 12's waiting for me. I am in a 14 now sometimes a 16......another 1o-15 and I can get out my 12 bag!! :-)

Ok Tina, I checked online and found Zumba classes for the Sunrise location.

Friday at 5:35, Saturday at 11:45 and Sundays at 8:45. What do you think? We should tackle that Zumba sometime. Maybe in December?

Thanks guys!! I will definatly have to hang in here. man but id hurt like a mu***!r f***er! Sorry had to get that out. 6 more weeks huh?!..and now I'm getting the shoulder pain what the heck I thought that would have been yesterday but I guess I was numb now I'm not. oh boy I have to suck it up. Thanks everyone.

Oh Sweet Maria, i know you hurt like a mu.@#@$fk, been there lol. They pain will subside, use you spirometer, it helped me a great deal and mini walks. I had the shoulder pain, i bet you get it after you drink? Dr.Park told me that basically the stomach pushes on the pancrease and that causes the shoulder pain. I still get shoulder pains when I get too full, it is a nagging pain.Hang in there. Let us know when you feel better so that we can hook up in Elk grove.

Candra call me sometime.

Aloha everyone!:) I hope you guys are having a good Friday.

sorry I haven't been on here lately jus been taking care of family issues/buisness.

Jus wanted to let you all know i'm still up and running and most importantly RE-FOCUSED:cool:.

I kinda almost gave up when I saw that my weight had gone up to 204:frown: again, but I had to take a stepback and re-collect myself... I didn't come this far for nothing and for DAMN sure i'm not gonna QUIT... so to jump start myself, I did a Detox liquid diet, and jus been eating 1 low carb meal a day. I think that has helped ALOT :).

so ok can someone give me a quick re-cap on when we might all get together?:bored:

Analynn - I txt you this morning but somebody has your phone number and it isn't you :bored: You get a new phone ?

Reggie, PM me your number, I don't have it!

I can't stop eating - i really need a fill. But I know The Doc isn't trying to hear it right now - not till 12/15.

I went & saw 2012 last night - it was ok... BUT, i ate the popcorn!

I just emailed my PCP - need a referral for counseling ASAP

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
