Hi all, I've just recently begun the process to having the lap band procedure done. I've had one meeting with a very nice surgeon about 3 weeks ago, now I'm fighting my insurance on just the consult bill to get him paid correctly. That was Oct. 20, so far I've been to the polmonologist have to go back on Dec 5 for an EKG but he has granted my approval with all sorts of stipulations. Today I had my psychology appointment and then Wednesday (Thanksgiving Eve) I go see the nutritionist. December 1, I go see the suregon again, hopefully he will have everyones approvals by then to be able to submit to my insurance.

I just wanted to say hello, if anyone has advice for me please let me hear it I want to know more than I need to know.

What type of insurance do you have? There are many threads with the insurance companies and requirements. Each on is different.
