Hey everyone! I know that October seems like forever away, but I was just seeing if there is anyone out there that wants some help and support through the long days leading up to the best thing that will every happen to us!? Can't wait to hear some support and excitement.

Hi, I am getting the LB on the 7th also. Just starting liquid diet..should be fun!

im starting my pre-op diet today...what is everyone else's consist of? My surgeon wants 1200 cal MAX and clear liquids 24hrs prior to surgery just curious to what everyone else is enduring

Mine is:

9-11 ounces of lean protein

2 servings of fruit

2 servings of vegetables

64 oz of water every day

Free foods are sugar-free popsicles and jello

Today is Day 7 of my 2 weeks Pre Op liquid. I have lost 13 lbs. I have 2 Atkins Advantage Protein Drink a day, Sugar Free Pudding, SF Jello and SF Popsicles as much as I can when I'm hungry. I would have a cup or 2 of chicken broth in evening to relax. I love this, it is easy for me. I feel great already and have lost one one inch at my waist. Good luck to all of you this week.

My pre-op diet consists of:

1 EAS protein shake for breakfast

1 EAS protein shake for lunch

1 Smart Ones or Lean Cuisine supper

64 oz water daily

sugar free popsicle for snack

I add sugar free fat free pudding mix (banana cream) to my shakes with crushed ice if I want to feel like I'm at Sonic and mix it in my bullet mixer I just bought and LOVE--

hi i saw my sergon on Friday Aug26.I am just waiting. The nurse said Oct. or early Nov.I am so excited it has been a two year process.My sergon works with a great team. I have had lots of support so far.

i am going to have my surgery on Oct. 6 at 7 30 am. i go to the hosp. at 5 30 am.

Hi Short n' Sassy: My daughter had her surgery Thursday and it went just great. She is recovering very nicely and is making progress each day. She was so strong, was never worried and hasn't complained once. My wife is having her surgery tomorrow and she is much more worried than my daughter. Thank you for your prayers and kind thoughts for my daughter.
