Hi Guys Haven't been here in a while so I thought I would update you all on my progress. I was doing very well until my last fill in November. Since that last fill I was unable to sleep at night due to the acid refulx that would wake me in the middle of the night making me throw up. I went back today and they did a complete UNFILL!!! I have to wait 30 days until I can have it filled again, am on medication to allow the stomach to heal...it felt good tonight to actually eat a meal and NOT throw up! I had 1/2 salad 1/2 of a steak and one yummy yeast roll!! I didn't think that was too bad...so far no indigestion and I think I might actually be able to get a whole 8 hours of sleep tonight. I was a little bummed but what the hell it's only 4 weeks and if I behave myself I should be fine???? Happy Holidays everyone!! MJ

Hi Mil I told a few people then I told everyone and figured what the hell?? It isn't thier body so it is none of thier business...LOL DO what is right for you and you will never regret it.... The people who don't know say..you look great what diet are you on and what are you doing?? I just say starving myself and that usually makes them go away...LOL

can I have 10 pounds please?? I am 169 now... anythign else you need to join???

OMG that is FUNNY Julie Ann!!! Congratulations to YOU!!!! That is something to be very proud of!! :biggrin::crying: I finally hit the 65 pound mark!!! 20 more pounds to goal for me!! It is verrryyyy slow now but I don't care! I just came back from vacation yesterday and lost a pound! Like that has EVER HAPPENED BEFORE? :ohmy:

YES!! Stop beating yourself up!! You need a fill thats all! I met a girl in Mexico who had only lost 30 pounds since the surgery 9 months ago finally went back to the dr and he unfilled the band and refilled it and she lost 10 pounds in a week!! Everyone is different, you are working hard and dont give up! I know how you feel though sometimes you just want to eat it because you can't...ugh Hang in there Wish I could give you a hug!! :cool: Keep the faith... you can do it...and I admire the fact that you are at the gym... this is something i really want to do (ok I really DON"T want to do it) but I think I need too...so you have 1/2 that battle won already!! Go get your fill and restart your journey! You have come way too far to give up now Julie Ann!!

Kicking your butt into gear, exercising and following a diet plan... didnt work for me I was a drop out!! But i am going to try again..

I signed up and have an appointment for Friday...GOD help me!! They are going to hurt me!! LOL I am starting to get flabby so I need to get going. Congrats to you, you are doing great! I was stuck at 1 pound lost since May so that is why i decided to fill again. Maybe you are just at a plateau? I am hoping this will be my last fill... keep your fingers crossed and post some pictures of yourself and your success!! I can't wait to see you in ONEDERLAND!!! :thumbup::thumbup:

Just stopping in to let everyone know how I am doing. I am doing great! Went to the fill center today to get the band checked and filled .2 so now I have 2.2 cc in my 4 cc band and here is the best part!! I am down 61 POUNDS!! woo Hoo!! only 24 more to go until I reach my goal! I am so excited I can hardly stand it...I have to have all my rings resized..LOL do you know I lost 12 inches from my bust alone! OMG!!11 inches from my waist and 8 inches off of my hips... it is unbelieveable! Everyone keep up the good work and hopefully I will hit my goal of 24 more pounds at our year mark!! Take care all!!

The last time I waited 9 months for something it came out crying and hungry! LOL It is such a treat to hear people say great and you look hot in the same sentance!! My husband is getting nervous and I love it...hehe I know I am cruel!!! I am going to try and post some pictures today. I saw one taken of me a year ago and WOW even I could see the difference. :confused:

Thanks meschultz, I think I am doing better, not throwing up as much i just cant get it through my head how little i am supposed to eat. It just seem right that I can't take more than 2 bites of something!! but then that is the old me and I dont think my head has caught up with what I have to do to make this work. I am down 60 pounds now and am only 27 pounds away from my goal so I am ALMOST there! Ok you guys are going to be happy to know I joined a gym...I havent gotten there yet but I intend on going to see if I can jump start my weight loss.. It has been 2 months now and I have only lost 4 pounds so it might be time for another fill? Not sure but I am going to wait until September and give myself some exercise time to see if that works... if not I am going to get the fill. I am so proud of you all you have done wonderful and everyone has been a great resource for me! Very comforting to be able to talk to people who are actually going through the same thing you are! :confused: Keep up the good work! Do you realize we are almost at our year mark?? You know I have never even spoken to the MD since the surgery....have been talking to the fill center only. What a good idea. Well I joined a gym and they keep calling me...guess I better get off my A** and go in.. maybe that will help... I am still throwing up a lot though and last time we spoke (fill center) they want to unfil me for a month then refill me....not happy with that at all. So I am waiting it out and it seems to have stretched a bit..at least i am not choking on my saliva like I was... :-) Any idea on jow long do you think this plateu will last? 2 months....something should give dont you think?

Hi Guys!! I have a question. I have only lost 4 pounds since May, should I go back for a fill? I am hardly eating anything now I can't imagine eating less? I have 2cc's in my 4cc band...I am torn what to do what to do?? Any suggestions? THanks and keep up the great work!!
