I found out yesterday that my surgery was approved but my follow-up (fills, et...) was not listed in the approval. Is this done as a separate approval?

do u have tricare prime or standard...and if u have standard..they can basically put anything through and tricare will take care of it..prime is harder. I have standard and I didnt even need a pre auth for my surgery..hope this helps/.//u could also call and ask them..I did.

I have Tri Care prime and my Dr put in a new request for the fills.. They approved it immediately ...

u should be ok as long as ur pcm believes in the surgery..I had prime and my pcm in Japan just thought I need diet and exercise..maybe he was trying to say the military money who the heck knows lol..good luck!

my surgeon just sent in a new one for the fills and it was approved immediatley.
