Try Benefiber it doesn't get thick and they even have the sugar free .. I use two teaspoons everyday in my tea or protein shake.. I swear by it .. Try too to stay away from cheese.. Hope this helps oh and drink lots of water ...

I was just reading all the posts and couldn't help but think what an AWESOME GOD we have.. Not only did he give us this band to help with our struggles but also gave us each other to talk to.. How great is that ..We can do this and we will do this.. WE will all start praying for our evening temptations and lights out in the kitchen at 8... Bless you all

I have to say I have tried the QVC product and it really works.. I too was having hair loos and my surgeous said bump up the protien and that really helped. The hair has stopped falling out but now I will wait for all the new little ones to pop up .. I hope ...

you are a total inspiration to me .. I am on a plateau and got back to the basics again .. I too love my band and never ever want to be without it ... Keep posting ...

Happy New Year Buddy ..I too got through the holidays but have to get back on track starting TODAY... I go for my 7th fill next month and hope that will be the last one .. I am so happy we did this I really am .. Down 51 lbs and loving it .

Just cause Oprah says it doesn't make it so. She is just a rich woman who now thinks everyone listens to her .Money talks I guess . We made our choice to fix our problem let her make more money trying to figure it out. I used to really like her now what she says doesn't even phase me .. I chose the band and my only worry is I never want to loose it ..

So good to hear from our buddies from May 19th.. I too am going slow but going ..I have almost lost 50 lbs now and am feeling great. I love the band and hope it stays with me forever ... Take care and Merry Christmas and the best new year ever ... AZChick :thumbup:

Give it one more try ... I prefer it cold with the chicken..It is a staple in my cupboard... I think it should be a Lap Band Recipe of the Year ....

EEyore first thng we need to do is change your name from Eeyore to a Tigger ..You need to toally disconnect with him..Like the other poster said delete his name and number from all files.. Painful as it will be you have to take the first step... You still had hope of being more than friends ..Who needs a firend like that... Take it so slow and only one day at a time ... We are here for you and never forget you are never alone .. When God shuts a door he always has another one open and ready for you ... Take care and try not to ever talk to him again ....

I just read these posts and had a huge lump in my throat ..Soul sister and all my sisters you are awesome... God let me find you to help along this journey ..He always does that what an AWESOME God we have ... Lexy you look marvelous.. Lets hope our next fill will do the trick.. I go for my third fill the 15th.. It is getting harder each day ..In my mind though I keep saying I don't want to hurt my band.. So I stick as best as I can to the routine.. I hate Bandster Hell ...

HI there Jennifer ..So good to hear from our May 19teeners.. I too have now had my second fill and can't wait to get my third fill .. I have no restriction either ..I am making another appointment as soon as they will let me have another fill.. Way to go on your weight loss ..That is absolutely wonderful .I have lost 28 put I am at a stand still and not loosing at all anymore ... Take care and keep posting .. Maybe the third fill will be our charm .

Try a heating pad too ..That helped me a lot ..My gas pains ended up in my back .. It really does get better ... Hope you get a good nights sleep ..

You hang in there and if you don't feel better in a day or two you call your Dr. Just remember you are still having the after effects of the anesthesia .. The third day might cause some blue feelings ..Once you get some proper sleep and sipping more you will feel so much better .. Take care and keep taking those meds they are for a reason .. I only had a 2.5 cc on my first fill and 1cc on my second and still haven't reached restriction .Would far rather go slow though than too tight and hurt the band and our pouch..My Dr said if water doesn't go down east just imagine how food will feel ..It is gonna happen we just have to gut through this... You take care and keep posting .

I agree with the rest of the posters ..That is totally against what all the other Drs are saying ..My surgeon has the lap band himself and he is constantly telling us to eat correctly and enjoy .. ONly liguids right after surgery and fills ..

Don't be surprised if you don't like coffee anymore after your banding. Others had told me this and I didn't believe it. I too was a huge coffee lover and I haven't wanted coffee since my surgery . It doesn't taste right to me anymore . I am now a tea drinker .. Who would of known..

I agree with areallady .. Why fix it if it isn't broken.. Eat more what you like but keep the portions at a minimum.. Still don't take a chance of hurting that beautiful band ... I am so thrilled for you and what an inspiration...
