New to the Forum

Hi there! My name is Nikkee and my lapband surgery is set for May 13th, 2005 (Yuck friday the 13th!). Dr. Hilario Juarez will be performing my surgery in Phoenix, AZ. I am grateful for this forum because you all have given me the insight that I need to know before and after surgery and what to expect over time. I'm kinda nervous, but all and all I am very excited and ready to start my life anew.

Hey! Just logged back on to tell you all she is doing good! Surgery is over, she is just in the recovery room, until they move her to her room. She will be staying over night. She is alert, talking, and doing great! Thanks for the support.

p.s. when she gets home and feels like typing, I will let her type her experience to you guys!

Congrats congrats all around. It appears things went great from the updates. Hope you are feeling great!! I'm excited to hear your story.

My surgery is June 23 and it can't come soon enough!!!! So I look forward to hearing how this all goes for you.

Any one with insite on their experience with lapband procedure? I've spoken with a lady that was banded by Dr. Rumbant in Monterrery, Mexico. Any information would be great.

Thanks
