Emrg - For Those Completely Unfilled

I need your help please. It's 7am here and to early to call the Dr. but do not want to go to the Emrg room.

I got unfilled yesterday and had a migraine by the time I got off work. I went to bed early after taking a shower and when I would lay on my left side the pain on the right side of my temple would stop but if I layed on my right I could fill the throbbing (obviously not a migraine). Now I woke up fine no headache Thanks Be to God. But up only 45min and I got a pain in my right arm like someone punched me when I went to hold it a pain radiated through my right chest are from bra line above to the middle of my chest area. I thought I was going to pass out anyway I made it to work needless to say but has any one experinced any kind of pain after a complete unfill???

Going to call the Doc as soon as they get in..

There you go. I usally never wear a slip unless you can see through my dress. Just to much extra for me to put on..

I thought when you have a heart attack that you usually feel it on the left side of your body. The pain started on the right and stayed just on the right side of my front chest like right below and the middle of the boob area. I am just thankfull that it has not come back and everything seem to be ok.

The American Heart Association and other medical experts say the body likely will send one or more of these warning signals of a heart attack:

  • Uncomfortable pressure, fullness, squeezing or pain in the center of the chest lasting more than a few minutes.
  • Pain spreading to the shoulders, neck or arms. The pain may be mild to intense. It may feel like pressure, tightness, burning, or heavy weight. It may be located in the chest, upper abdomen, neck, jaw, or inside the arms or shoulders.
  • Chest discomfort with lightheadedness, fainting, sweating, nausea or shortness of breath.
  • Anxiety, nervousness and/or cold, sweaty skin.
  • Paleness or pallor.
  • Increased or irregular heart rate.
  • Feeling of impending doom.

Not all of these signs occur in every attack. Sometimes they go away and return. If some occur, get help fast. IF YOU NOTICE ONE OR MORE OF THESE SIGNS IN YOURSELF OR OTHERS, DON'T WAIT. CALL EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES (9-1-1) RIGHT AWAY! In the event of cardiopulmonary arrest (no breathing or pulse), call 9-1-1 and begin cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) immediately.

The actual diagnosis of a heart attack must be made by a doctor who has studied the results of several tests. The doctor may:

  • Review the patient's complete medical history.
  • Give a physical examination.
  • Use an electrocardiogram (or EKG) to discover any abnormalities caused by damage to the heart.
  • Use a blood test to detect abnormal levels of certain enzymes in the bloodstream.

Thank you Jenna that is very helpful the pain came back this morning started right under my arm pit right side and spread to my spine front and back but staying just under the rib cage. It lasted a good 30 min got the kids to grandmas praying that I would not wreck then drove to the emrg room As I got off the truck the freaken pain stopped. Cannot believe it I was so mad. Anyway making a appt with My PCP hopefully I can get in today or soon and she can run the test to see what is going on..

Other than that my band feels pretty good.

"H-pylori - March

unfilled 05/02/05

Tested again for H-pylori"

Hope you are feeling better. I'm new, no surgery YET - but it's gonna happen! Would you please tell me what H-pylori is?

Thanks for any information you can share.

Please get in as soon as you can! Sometimes those start and stop things can be a warning. Most likely it isn't much, but it is always better to be safe than sorry! Please let us know what the doctor says. My thoughts and prayers are with you!

Hugs!

Update. After explaining what was going on she Immedialty set up an Ultra sound for Gall Bladder. I cannot believe it..

She says the pain I am having and where it is at is a GallBladder attack. Not in my wildest dreams would I have thought. So come next Wed's I go in for an ultra sound of my Gall bladder.

Thank You Jenna for posting the heart symptoms that really got me moving. Oh yeah in the mean time need to stay away from fatty foods.

Thank you all again.

Gall Bladder? (spoken like my southern soft-spoken grandmother from Virginia) "Well, law! I'll be!"

Go figure! Gall bladder problems vs heart attack?...hmmm....gall bladder! Hope that's it and you have an answer for sure. I was worried!!! Just keep us posted.
