Fit Flops Anyone?

Recommended Posts

The shoes are also sold in Foot Locker. There is a band across the mid part of the foot that helps to hold it on too. It is supposed to help with plantar fascitis and heel spur syndromes and tight achilles tendons. Very cute also come in pink, red black.I am contemplating a pair. Why not let my muscles work hard for me when I am just walking around???

aveamora,

Yeah it can get painful. We're trying to avoid surgery by doing stretches and wearing inserts in my shoes to stretch the Achilles tendon and give me some support and padding. Some days are better than others. That's one reason why the fit flop caught my attention. It may help with my foot issues. I'm also hoping that losing some weight will help some too just because of the load on my feet!

Glad to hear everybody talking about FitFlops. I watched them for months and convinced my Husband to get them for me for Mother's Day (he didn't like the price but I just had to have them) I love them. They make my feet feel good. I walk in them daily for about 2 1/2 miles and I feel great. I put them on everyday. I even use them when I am on my elliptical machine doing my exercise. I love flip flops anyway so they were a bonus. He paid the $50.00 for me the black ones with the little red stripe from Bath and Body Works. I am trying to catch them on sale so that I can get a white pair. I've got my fingers crossed. I almost forgot to mention that I wear them when I jog too. I hope you all enjoy them! I have to give them

luvinke,

Thanks for the fisrt-hand account. Helps to hear. I think I'm going to start keeping an eye out for sale prices for them!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
