Me too which is why I believe I haven't been a big loser like some on here. If the truth be known, I am rarely hungry but still eat because I think I should and because I can. I'm kicking myself for that because I would be much closer to my goal by now. I have another fill next week which hopefully should fix the ability to eat too much in one sitting and then from there I have to work on the head stuff. I am still very happy that I am down 35 lbs. Bought an outfit for my niece's 21st birthday party which is in 2 weeks time and I am down a dress size... surely I can't complain about that. :thumbup:

Okay so i went for a 1 month follow up with the doc. I lost a total of 8lbs. I had to have an unfill of .22cc's due to pbing almost daily. He told me that I am doing well, even though i have been feeling a little blue about the whole eating experience. I really do not enjoy going out for dinner as it is scary, painful sometimes, and food gets cold.....just a little whinny, dont mind me......

Anyhow, i am hoping that i reach my 10 lb goal by the 21st, as i lost alot after the last fill, and then gained too:thumbdown:

I hope everyone will update soon, to see how we are all doing is very encouraging for me.

OK, I'm confused. I had to take a pound off this list as it was a pound higher than my post from last week. Didn't lose this week...yet!

I got my list from copy/paste from page 7 from lindata. So i am confused as to the correct list? Can anyone clear this up? I updated my wt loss from that list......

That list had me 1.5 lbs heavier so I found the one before which had my correct weight loss which I assume is the latest one.

I am still struggling to get off the weight I gained in Vegas. I am still up 1 pound but I am going to do the 5 Day Pouch Test this test and I am hoping it will help get me back on track. I can still meet my goal so I am going to try very hard.

Please pardon my ignorance, but what is the '5 Day Pouch Test'?

Surgical Weight Loss 5 Day Pouch Test

This is a web site that i found on another thread,,,,hope this answers your quesitons. I was curious also so i researched it. I believe i will try on my next week off work..... (i work 7 on 7 off). If you try it, let me know how you all do?

So far the 5 day pouch test is good. I am on day 3 which is soft Protein. I've had 1 boiled egg and for lunch I made up 6 ounces of tuna with 1 boiled egg and some light mayo. I ate about 1/2 of it and I am eating the rest now. I really feel like it has helped. I lost 1.6 after the 1st 2 days.

Thats awesome for you......sometimes i think we need to settle down a little and get back to some basics....almost like jump starting the wt loss again....let us know how you made out by the end of the 5 days, and then in a week from then.....just to see if it will stay off or not.

I haven't been here for a long time. I get to actually post a loss! Yesturday when I weighed, I saw 205.7! I think all the exercising I've been doing lately is really helping. I was so motivated I got on my bike and ended up riding 20 miles! It was such a nice morning. I rode to a lake and back. I hope to keep working hard and hopefully lose the next 5-6 lbs so I can be closer to my goal.

Haven't been on the forum much lately, just a busy time of year for me and haven't had much to report.

Finally can report a measly two pound loss so I'm at 173.

Just didn't have time to copy and paste list today.

      I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
      I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
      Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

      Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.
