November Nymphs Summer Kick-Off Weight Loss Challenge

Recommended Posts

Thanks Holly.

Also my fills cost $350.00 each. So if I can do this without having to get too many fills then thats more money in the pot for a Tummy Tuck down the road. :-D Lord knows I am gonna need one and maybe a Breast Lift. My poor girls are sure deflating and heading down, down down.

Hi All, Just checking in. I have no weight loss to report. I am one of those that also cannot understand how I can eat this much with 8.4 cc's in my band. Have another fill scheduled for Weds a.m.. Since I get so tight right after, I think I am going to have to go often and do very small fills until I hit the right spot. chicken, beef, you name it, it goes down.

I am in Rhode Island until Tues a.m. Cleaning, Cleaning, cleaning. I think the work I'm doing makes me believe I "deserve" the treats I'm eating, but I know I'm not doing that much work. Too many of those 100 calorie snack packs ( and no scale here). I won't be buying those packs anymore. I thought I was back on track after vacation but I am off my old routine.

And the wedding looms large!

Hopefully after my fill, I'll lose a few.

Hi everyone,

Hope all is going well in band land!

I went to my DR yesterday (5-15-08) and found out that I lost 10.5 pounds since my last visit on April 14, 2008!!!!!

I thought that I was not doing so well-- but then I always think that :w00t:

I have been exercising more, riding my bike and walking.

I did ask for another fill. A week before my visit I always feel like I can eat more than I should. Now it is never as much as I used to could eat,, but it worries me. I ate a piece of cake on Mothers Day and I don't think I should have been able to eat that !! LOL

He put 1/2 cc in me. I think I have 7 cc's and my band is a 10cc but I'm not sure.

My DR recommends clear liquid the day after a fill and so far I haven't even wanted food. I love the super full feeling I'm getting with just Water and Soup (OK, so now you all know that I'm crazy LOL)

Ok so when I accepted this challenge I was at 246 my current weight is 238!!! total of 8 Pounds lost.

It's funny but I'm omly anal about certain things and messy in others.

I am so glad to be reporting new weight loss. I had been sabotaging myself for too long and I hope that I will be able to get past that as I try to lose more.

I hope you continue to lose Cindy, you're probably at a bit of a plateau... you've got to hit that 100 lbs soon!! :woot::Banane20:

WTG on the losses, guys. I've been doing too much stress eating. It's been a hobby that sadly I have picked back up. I am working on it this weekend because I know I've gained a couple lbs back and I do NOT like it. Back to basics, as they say. I don't see how I'll make 159 by June 21st, but the unexpected is always possible, I suppose.

It's so easy to do Steph but you've achieved so much so far that no doubt you'll get back on track.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
